It never ceases to amaze me that even when we shoot for ONE additional hour on a wedding day, all the extra shots we’re able to create. Folks, I have been sorting through hundreds of photos for days on this wedding - and they are all not only stunning, but completely running away with my heart strings…
To start out, it was fun for me to shoot a full wedding day in my hometown. Honestly, I do A LOT of traveling for weddings. But for Jay and Bailey, Hebron is where their roots lay, and so it was Hebron where this special day took place. On top of being at a beautiful local church, the Thayer County courthouse sits right across the street, with prime real estate for photos! So after focusing on some unique details, we got to mosey over to the courthouse yard for our first look, and a few couple portraits.
The ceremony was simple and sweet, leaving us plenty of time to run off and capture the fun of the wedding party, and some drop-dead-gorgeous “just married” pictures. (Which are ALWAYS my fav.) I’m just so thankful Jay and Bailey were so willing to trust me in order to capture the magic! 😉
After a much needed cheers at the local watering hole, we hurried back to the reception to see not 3, but 5 VERY special dances, their beautiful cake and all the general splendor of the evening. As you scroll through, I hope these portraits will fill your heart and allow you to bask in the love of their day.
