First we'll reserve your session date with a non-refundable down payment and session contract.

After booking, and shortly before your shoot, I'll find the best locations based on the season, time of day and lighting! (If you're thinking of having me travel to you we'll want to thoroughly discuss your location's potential pros and cons.) Clients are also always welcome to reach out if they need assistance styling their wardrobe.

DURING
All I need the day of your shoot is for you to show up. Aside from that you can fully kick back and relax. Don't know what to do with your hands..arms...legs..etc?! I got you... I'll explore and tweak poses to make your family look and feel natural. Plus, we'll also be having fun with gently cued moments that will quickly spark into genuine candid joy!

AFTER
Gallery delivery will typically take around 2 weeks from your session date. This timeline may vary either way depending on the time of year.

Your gallery will be a PROOFING gallery. Clients should expect light watermarks on all images. Once you've made your final selections, for the images included with your sessions, they will be made available for download within 1-3 business days. Your downloadable images will not have watermarks. However, I kindly ask textual credit be included on all social media posts, profile and cover photos.

If clients choose, they may also order additional digital files, and professionally printed products of any of their images.

As part of your statement experience, clients should expect that all images will be finished with my signature post production style.

My portraits take on a highly contrasted, color-rich, timeless look; With bright highlights, dark blacks and colors that pop in all the right places. You’ll find I put my whole heart into carefully balancing light and color to making your best features shine. To some my portraits may even look a bit dream-like!

Your session will be balanced between naturally posed and gently cued candid images. I'll of course also always be watching for fully candid moments to unfold.

WILL YOU TRAVEL TO ME?

In many cases travel to a client’s location is available, as long as there is space in the schedule to accommodate extra travel time. I also highly recommend discussing your location with me ahead of time to help ensure your location fits with all of your portrait goals, and lighting.

CAN WE INCLUDE A PET IN OUR PORTRAITS?

Typically the answer to this question is always, YES!” I love meeting your fur-babies. However, please let me know ahead of time if you’re bringing a pet, and note the following requirements:

1) Pets should be on a leash or in a carrier when in the studio. Clients will be responsible for any damages their pet(s) make.

2) Pets MUST be flea and tick treated for any studio access.

3) Pets MUST be potty trained for any studio access.

4) Pet parents should always have a safe place to keep their pets when they’re not part of your portraits. Make sure to have plenty of water on hand for any hot outdoor sessions.
