What's Shakin' in 2020
Well 2020 is already off to the races, because here we are at the end of January. Even though the weather is atrocious this season, it’s still a time of year I really enjoy…Before you roll your eyes, hear me out.
See, I like to call these months (about January to March) the recharge and reflection months. It’s the season where there just isn’t much going on - and it’s wonderful! Holiday obligations are minimal, and with the weather so crummy events are rare. At least in my little world. I just cherish this time to reflect on what this year might bring, what I’d like to accomplish, and maybe catch up on a few indoor projects. So hello 2020, here’s what I see in you!

A FRESH STUDIO.
As some of you may have caught on social media, my studio come January could be considered nothing short of a “national disaster.” While creativity is rarely organized I like to start the new year off with a fresh look. New portraits hanging on the wall, organized shelves, and so on. But this year, it’s more than just organizing, it’s redecorating and making the studio more functional. So far it’s off to a good start. However, the real question is….”How long can it stay this way?” ;)
I’m looking forward to finishing my redecorating by the end of February, so I certainly hope you’ll all take a minute to pop by and check out the refreshing new look in decor. I can’t promise it’ll still be 100% organized by the time you get here, but I guarantee you’ll love the feel!
DID SOMEONE SAY FRESH!?
Yes! Speaking of fresh looks; There may have been some notice that my logo itself has been getting a new flare. My “feather based N” has deep roots in my heart, but reflecting more upon my style and likes, a cool laid back color fits my soul just a little better. So going forward you will see some of my displays changing to a soft gray/blue/purple, as well as becoming more simplified. Some of my signage may take some time to replace, but one day. :) What do YOU think about this new vibe?!

THE NEW MRS.
In case I haven’t bragged enough already, I get to marry my best friend in May 2020. I am SO thrilled, but I’ve been getting asked a lot of what will happen to my business name once my maiden name is gone…
The truth is, I really didn’t have to think that hard about it. Though I’m a traditional girl and my name will be legally changing, my business name will not. And while I am so excited to start introducing myself as “Mrs. Rausch,” for simplicity of business association, you may still catch me saying, “Jennifer Noel” at work.
To sum it up nicely, this was always my plan as a way to keep my maiden name in my life, and to pay tribute to where I began and the business I built. My new season of life starts May 30th, but I will continue to celebrate my past AND my future as NOEL Photography and Design. Now to continue to brag…here’s an adorable pic of my soon-to-be hubby. ;)

As always, I LOVE to give the website a little refresher at the beginning of each new year. It’s the perfect time to add new client photos, update service listings, and make sure everything is running in tip top order!
