It’s strange. I travel all over the place for wedding portraits, but there are so many towns near my home base that I have yet to shoot in. Megan and Andrew’s planning began during the pandemic, so there were a few venue changes along the way. None the less, their special day brought me to one of the near by places of Fairbury, NE.

The best way I can describe their wedding day is “pure happiness.” And for good reason. These two completely vibe off each other, and it lights up a room! Even though the weather was changing rapidly through out the day, from blazing sun to cloudy to raining and back to sunny again, the smiles from Megan and Andrew never stopped.

They said their vows in the unique and historic Bonham Theater, followed by their reception at the beautiful Diller Opera House. After the ceremony it of course had to be raining. So their AMAZING wedding party followed us around with umbrellas to capture a few “just married” moments. (Seriously - thank you friends for your umbrella skills!!) Once the “must haves” were complete it was time to start the party; And party we did!

Thank you SO MUCH for inviting me to take part in your big day. It is beyond obvious how much love flows between you. I pray it’s that same love that carries you through your endless years together. The honor to capture these special moments for you was all mine, and I wish you nothing but the best as you take on this new season of life.
