WHAT WILL YOU LEAVE BEHIND FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS?
The images captured will vary widely at each Legacy session, as these are a documentary/lifestyle sessions in the truest form. This session will focus primarily on capturing moments as they naturally happen as well as gently cued candids. Before your shoot we’ll take some time to discuss together an activity or part of your day that is most important to capture, and the best way to capture it. Visit the "session ideas" tab for concepts you may want to adapt, or use to get your mind dreaming.

  • Legacy Portraits are curated sessions designed to create timeless portraiture of your family and children in daily life. These remarkably nostalgic images are intended to be printed and passed to future generations over and over again. If you’re looking for a way to leave a visual representation of your mark on history - here’s your opportunity!

  • Clients should expect that all images will be finished with my signature post production style. Legacy sessions will be a documentary session that focus majoritively on gently cued and fully candid images.

My portraits take on a highly contrasted, color-rich, timeless look; With bright highlights, dark blacks and colors that pop in all the right places. You’ll find I put my whole heart into carefully balancing light and color to making your best features shine. To some my portraits may even look a bit dream-like!

BRINGING THE GOOD OL’ DAYS TO MODERN TIMES.

If you’ve ever sat around looking at old snapshots from your grandparents and great grandparents you probably found yourself lost in conversation about “the good ol’ days.” Comparing who looks like who, and reminiscing how, “your great grandparents made it through the depression raising 5 kids with nothing but the best biscuit recipe, a smile and a prayer.”

My Grandmother made the best pies in all the surrounding counties. My great great maternal grandmother looks just like me. The bench now in my foyer was once in the original house of my family farm 100+ years ago. And what an honor finding out my Grandfather, who I never met, loved photography! In fact, most of the Noel family photo slides are his. He captured daily life on the farm, machinery of his time, and most importantly the people he loved. All these images of daily life and people simply living are now the storytellers of a time long gone.

It’s these marks of history that inspire me to capture what we’ll leave behind for the next generations. Something more than a digital file mess of blurry phone photos.
