These last several months have been nothing short of a whirlwind, from finding out we’re pregnant to jumping from session to session and season to season. As the year is slowly coming to a close, I find myself needing to do some major “catching up” on various fronts; Including getting some gorgeous sessions onto the blog. So please excuse the fact that some of these posts coming up will not be from recent sessions, but rather my absolute favorites from a few past sessions that more than deserve their moment in the spotlight.

In honor of their wedding day TOMORROW, I wanted to share more from Whitney and Trevor’s engagement session. We had the most beautiful early summer evening for their shoot; The kind of evening where the temperature feels just right, the sun is glowing through the trees perfectly, and the creek is flowing gently enough to play in. (Needless to say, at a best of 40 degrees, we will not be doing any creek dipping tomorrow!)

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Whitney since our school years, so when she called me to set up her first consult I was overjoyed at the idea of capturing her big day. Watching the two of them connect, and fall in love over and over again during their session, made my heart want to explode. I knew their big day would be extra special.
